Dão, Northern Portugal, PortugalTaboadella is an exciting new Dão project from the Amorim family (of cork domination). The family is no stranger to winemaking, however, owing Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo in the Douro, as well as the large Aldea de Cima estate in the Alentejo, where they have been planting vines over the past few years. Villae Branco is a blend of encruzado, bical, and cercial, from Dão's granitic soils. This was whole-bunch-fermented and aged in large inox.
