Moon Curser Arneis

Moon Curser Arneis 2019

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAs far as I, or they, know, Moon Curser is the only one in Canada working with Arneis, a white grape from Piemonte. Rooted on the Osoyoos east bench, this was cool fermented in stainless, with no MLF, where it stayed on lees without b√Ętonnage until the following spring, when it was bottled. Full and ripe, as is Moon Curser's MO, this pulls along the waxen palate with pear compote, honeysuckle, quince jam, and yellow apple. A twist of lime pith adds some freshness to the palate and snappy finish, though this remains a full, generous white. Pour alongside richer white fish or flavourful and tropical-scented Asian salads.Tasted: 17 December 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 22.99 select private wine shops, limited restaurants Producer: Moon CurserDistributors: BCWineshop
