Kitsch Pinot Noir 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaKitsch Winery is East Kelowna based, and the two vineyards where they grow pinot noir sit over silt, clay, glacial sediments, rock, gravel, and sand. This is pressed with 35% whole cluster bunches, and all of the wine is native fermented after a five-day cold soak, spending a total of 17 days on skins. Post ferment, the wine spends just under one year in French oak. The style is fresh and juicy, somewhat reminiscent of Marlborough pinot noir. Look for plummy blackberries dusted with brown spices, finishing warm and smooth. Not cheap.Tasted: 17 November 2020Tasted by: Prices:
