Kitsch Pinot Noir 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their East Kelowna estate's gravel and stone soils, this was 35% whole cluster and entirely native fermented, with a 5-day cold soak and 17 days on skins. This then rested in French oak for 10 months. Plush and juicy, with dusky plum, wild blackberries and rafts of fine-grained baking spices running to a lingering finish, with a swell of warmth. Tannins are plush and well-integrated, encouraging cracking into now. Try alongside wild mushroom ragout or pan-seared spiced duck. 425 cases produced.Tasted: 19 December 2020Tasted by: Prices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
