H's Brut Sparkling Wine 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaH’s Brut! is a collaboration between the Fitzpatrick winemaking team and the sommelier team at Hawksworth Restaurant, and it's a winner. The fruit is from Greata Ranch in the non-appellated subregion of Peachland in the north-central Okanagan Valley. The blend is 75/23/2 chardonnay, pinot noir, and pinot meunier, and the attack is fresh with bright citrus and a light leesy, yeasty, mineral, stony finish. It's fermented in the traditional method, and aged a generous 24 months on its lees. You can order this at Hawksworth Restaurant and Nightingale by the bottle at $78, or by the glass at $16. H’s Brut can also be purchased on its own at $58 per bottle or with 2018 H’s Blend Pinot Noir in H’s Blend Duo Package for $130. Add a signed copy of Chef David Hawksworth’s cookbook with the wine for a total of $180. Order direct on the Hawksworth website.Tasted: 28 December 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices: BC 32.99 BCLS Producer: Fitzpatrick Family VineyardsDistributors: Vintage West Wine Marketing
