Covert Farms Sparkling Pinot Noir Methode Ancestrale 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis new release pinot noir pét-nat comes from Mimi's Block, planted 2009 on their McIntyre Bluff organic farm. After a native ferment in stainless, this went into bottle while fermenting, capturing the fizz. Light strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb rule the brisk palate, with a bump of RS countering the zingy acidity, before a sour cherry finish. Quite a natty pét-nat, so be forewarned.Tasted: 19 December 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 32.80 winery online, select private retailers Producer: Covert Farms Family EstateDistributors: BCWineshop
