Ca' di Ponti Nero d'Avola 2018

Sicily, ItalyEstablished in 2003, Adria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica, the latter being the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. The aim is to produce authentic, well-priced wines from local grape varieties. The fruit is a mix from a trio of sites across Sicily, two from the southwest and the other from mature, low yielding vines at Pachino in eastern Sicily, the Classico region for Nero d’Avola. The style is juicy and fresh with a touch of the Boutinot allure that makes their wines so drinkable. Uncomplicated, this red wine can be served with a sausage pizza, a beef burrito, or a cheeseburger. Fine value.Tasted: 11 December 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
