Château Pesquié Cuveé Juliette 2019

Sud de France, FranceCuvée Juliette Blanc is 70 percent clairette mixed with 30 percent grenache blanc. Named after Frederick Chaudiere’s daughter (4th generation in this wine family), this white wine has an exotic undertone sporting ripe pineapple and orange rind and finishing with a twist of salinity. Again the freshness of fruit and acidity plays into some inviting creamy textures and savoury garrigue notes. A wonderful start for the undervalued grapes in the blend. There is no rush to drink this wine, one that makes a wonderful match for creamy seafood dishes or roasted chicken with a salt crust.Tasted: 30 November 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
