Tightrope Winery Cabernet Franc 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their estate Thomas Vineyard, on Naramata Bench, this cab franc spent three weeks on skins after a five day cold soak, and then headed to mostly French oak (50% new) with the remainder American wood, for one year. Plump and flush with savoury edged black cherry, dark plum, wild blackberries, cigar box, and curls of cedar spicing, this juicy, medium bodied red is set for drinking now.
