Summerhill Pyramid Winery Summerhill Vineyard Riesling Demeter Certified Biodynamic 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the estate plantings of clone 21B, now over 40 years old, this biodynamic riesling is native fermented in stainless. It is eventually halted by super chilling at the desired residual sugar / acid level. In 2018 the numbers were 43 g/L RS, 8.7 TA, and 10.8% alcohol. This is a terrific wine, packed full of sweet pear and ripe lime flavours cut by green apple and a peppery finish. It doesn’t quite have the elegance of a Mosel riesling, but it is getting very close. Bright, juicy, and ready to drink, it will age forever.
