Frind Estate Premier Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Rock Pile Vineyard in Oliver, this is South Okanagan cabernet sauvignon through the lens of the relatively short 2019 growing season. It's not a blockbuster, but it's also not underripe either. Rather, it's a juicy style of cabernet sauvignon that's dark fruited and bolstered by dusty oak. It still manages to be linear and structured, but with an easiness common to Frind's 2019 Premier reds. If anything, the acidity may be a notch too tart, but it should do well at the dinner table at only 12.7% abv.Tasted: 17 November 2020Tasted by: Prices:
