Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOn Naramata Bench, this chardonnay comes off 19-year-old own-rooted vines from the estate Sideshow Hill Vineyard and saw 3 months ageing in barrel. The purity of Naramata orchard fruit streams through here, with a bright melody of apples, spice, lemon zest, and river stone. The wood plays a backdrop to the fruit, though it will certainly support it for a few years in the cellar.
