Therapy Pinot Noir 2018

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWinemaker Jacq Kemp has done an admirable job pulling Therapy Vineyards into the future, first in the vineyards and now in the bottle. The 2018 pinot noir opens with an intense, vibrant, cool-climate aroma featuring fresh red fruits with a floral underbelly. On the palate, look for fresh raspberry, cranberry, rhubarb notes with a dry, spicy finish. A barely noticeable 46 percent new oak fills in the final picture of a well balanced, medium weight pinot that hails from Naramata Bench and a Summerland vineyard across the lake. The winemaking includes a ten-day cold soak and fermentation in small batch fermenters that allow the pinot noir to be pushed and pulled in different directions, aiding overall complexity. Post ferment and pressing it rests in French oak barrels. Food friendly.Tasted: 20 September 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
