Ventoux, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceTerra Ventoux comes off five different geological terroirs spread across a 600 hectare vineyard. Terra Ventoux Les 5 Terroirs is made with grapes grown on all five of the individual terroirs, including Burgundian limestone very fragmented by erosion, white clay with limestone pebbles, sandy hills with red clay with pure broken quartz, and iron-rich red acidic soils. The blend is 60/40 grenache/syrah from 30+ year old vines. The nose is fragrant with hints of savoury garrigue, the attack soft and round with juicy fruity black plum that easily slips down. Good value and ready to drink.
