Veneto, ItalyFrom Corvina, Raboso, and Refosco, Corasco uses dried grapes, desiccated over one month in drying racks, losing water and concentrating sugars and flavours. After fermentation, it was aged for 18 months in Slavonian oak. Rich, thick and dense, this pulls prune, fig, leather, and tobacco along the whole palate, with oxidative notes woven throughout to the warming, baking spice finish.
