Cafayate, Calchaqui Valley, Salta, North, ArgentinaThis opens up with a leesy, reductive note that resolves itself rather quickly, leaving tart red fruits that are not overly characterful. The palate is similar, though buoyed by some residual sugar (4 g/L), in quite a lean style of cabernet sauvignon with sour acidity. It's not altogether seamless and gives the impression of being quite worked.
