Marche, ItalyThis charmat method sparkling Sangiovese rosé comes from Offida and Acquaviva Picena, in the Province of Ascoli Piceno. It spent four months on lees in the pressurized tanks prior to disgorgement, with a minor dosage. This lively, dry rosé skips along a lean, slightly grippy / skin textured palate with red currant, raspberry, orange, and cherry blossom, taut and tart with a cranberry briskness that hums along the finish.
