Bosio Langhe Favorita 2018

Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyChances are you haven't had much favorita in your life. You have, perhaps, had vermentino though, a close genetic relative of this Piemontese white grape. Bosio's comes from Santo Stefano Belbo, and calcareous clay soils 200-300m. After a day of skin contact, this was fermented and aged in stainless, on lees, for 3 months. Tight, fine yellow fruits, honeysuckle, elderflower shimmer with a tight mineral spicing afforded by the soils, and climate. Tastes distinctly, nobly Piemontese, and could easily become a new favourite.Tasted: 11 September 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
