After studying winemaking in Friuli, he returned home in 2005 to take over his family's winery in the west of Sicily, renovating the vineyards, focusing on organic viticulture. He focuses on local varieties, like Frappato. Pouring a glowing amber peach hue, this Frappato rosé is potent and forward with strawberry rhubarb, fragrant orange, herbal thyme and scrubby rosemary on a medium palate, finishing with an astringent bergamot rinse.
