Pfalz, GermanyVilla Wolf is Ernst Loosen's affordable, traditional Pfalz varietal line that combines estate fruit with contract growers. This fruity pinot noir rosé illustrates the Pfalz's warmness and Loosen's Mosel touch. The fruit is purpose-picked for rosé, and a four to six-hour maceration delivers an attractive pale pink colour that draws you into the glass. There is strong lees influence adding some creamy complexity followed by a whack of orange, apple, lime and sweet strawberry juicy fruit in the finish.
