Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis tastes like it couldn’t come from anywhere else but the Okanagan. From its desert sage aromatics to ripe, brambly fruit this is quintessential Okanagan merlot. The fruit is dense and concentrated, true to the low yielding 2017 vintage, with chewy tannins that are softened and smoothed by 4 g/L residual sugar. It also admirably strives to be a fresher style, though the acidity finishes somewhat tart and unintegrated.
