Monte del Frà Bardolino 2018

Verona, Veneto, ItalyBardolino borders the more familiar appellation of Valpolicella, but the style and grape varieties are similar. A blend of 65 percent corvina and 30 percent rondinella, with a small dollop of sangiovese, this is a juicy red that will go down easy with a slight chill. The tannins are negligible, the alcohol modest at 12.5% abv, and the sappy brambly fruit is front and centre. If you're in the mood for a light-bodied red and want to further explore Italian wine, you've found the right bottle. Recommended.Tasted: 26 August 2020Tasted by: Prices:
