Piedmont, ItalyClassic and pristine Moscato d'Asti, from its pristine orange blossoms, perfumed apricot, peach, nougat on a mid sweet palate, brightened with a prickle of spritz. The moscato grows on hillside vineyards and a mix of marls, quartz, and silt. Fermentation is stopped with chilling, leaving 140 g/L RS, and a refreshing 5 degrees alcohol. Pleasant breakfast wine, alongside your bowl of fresh peaches and cream.Tasted: 17 August 2020Tasted by: Prices:
Piedmont, ItalyThis Moscato d'Asti is not the cheapest option you'll find on the shelf, but it differentiates itself through its purity of fruit. It has such a pure nose of orange blossom and fresh apricot, you'd be forgiven for thinking you had a serving of fruit after a glass. Moscato d'Asti is always fairly sweet, and this is no different, clocking in at roughly 140 g/L residual sugar, but it manages to maintain a real brightness on the palate. It makes for a perfect brunch wine.Tasted: 04 August 2020Tasted by: Prices:
