Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileThis pinot noir grows a mere 4km from the cold Pacific Ocean, and the result is a light, fruity, fresh, pink with strawberry, grapefruit, and a soft, slippery texture. An undercurrent of lees adds a touch of complexity, but this is mostly ready to drink now with shellfish, cream cheeses, tomato pasta, or pizza.Tasted: 12 July 2020Tasted by: Prices:
Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileThis pinot noir grows in the granitic clays gracing the coastal valley of Leyda, 4km from the cooling winds of the Pacific. After a whole cluster press and short time on skins for the deep, cool pink hue, this fermented cool in stainless before racking and resting in stainless for 7 months with weekly bâtonnage. Fresh strawberry, raspberry floods a silken palate, lined with a cool sheet of lees, and seasoned with fine pink pepper dusted tannins. Acidity is crunchy, and RS is slight, making this as ideal for food as it is for food pairings. Coastal Chilean.Tasted: 10 July 2020Tasted by: Prices:
