Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis skin contact riesling is splashed with some gew and pinot gris, and spent 10 days on skins before 6 months in neutral barrels. Pouring a cloudy peach hue, this is subtle upon opening, but grows with some time in the glass, carrying bitter apricot, wild grapefruit, Bosc pear skin, wild lemon, and pithy grapefruit on the slight, mouth watering palate. The finish is astringent with bitter tangerine, lingering with mineral salts.
