Pasqua Hey French You Could Have Made This But You Didn't NV

Soave, Verona, Veneto, ItalyYou had me at the name, but what the heck, I tasted the wine too. Pasqua is one of those large producers that continues to evolve with the times, turning out quality wine at an affordable price. This playful wine is classified as a Bianca Veneto, and made from grapes grown on the Veronese side of Mount Calvarina, in the easternmost part of Soave. It also is a blend of finished wine from the best four vintages of the decade (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017). Only ten percent of the wine is fermented in barriques before it is all aged in second use oak for six months, followed by storage in stainless steel. Few folks age garganega, but it has the potential to mature in the bottle and put on complexity too. This wine was a delicious super-Soave, with intense citrus and floral, with an even stronger hit of minerality. The combination of blended vintages only adds to its charm.
