Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaElegant aromas and styling mark the palate of this delicious red that offers everything you want in a well-made terroir-based wine. It also screams Okanagan. The cabernet sauvignon planted in 2009 at the Lucy vineyard, and merlot from 2005 on the Allendale vineyard, represent Okanagan Falls. The remaining merlot comes from Blind Creek Vineyard in the Similkameen, while cabernet franc comes off the Golden Mile Bench in Oliver. The grapes spent 25 days fermenting with skin contact before ageing in mostly French oak barrels (35 percent new) for 15 months. Youthful blue fruits dominate the back end and balance the light tannins.
