Lingua Franca Mimi's Mind Pinot Noir 2017
Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesFrom legendary Willamette farmer Mimi Casteel's home vineyard, this is clone 667, with 50% whole cluster and native ferment. Post ferment, this rests for 17 months in French barriques (20% new), followed by 2 months in tank. Alluring wild raspberry, cherry is scented with wild flowers and textured with fine mineral grippiness. Acidity is lofty, and tannins are tightly grippy and long, streaming this to a lingering finish. Ageworthy.Tasted: 13 July 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $125.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
