Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit comes off the Osoyoos East Bench, basking in the late day sun. It's surprising to learn the vines are now 22 years old, until you taste the wine. A cool stainless steel ferment has protected a crispness that will surprise, and time on lees has added a touch of texture. On the palate, there is a steady stream of lemon and even a hint of gooseberry before a slightly bitter lime rind and melon finish. This is a winning style that should only improve in successive vintages as the winemaking ages like the vines. Well done.Tasted: 14 July 2020Tasted by: Prices:

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine comes from their Osoyoos east bench vineyard and 22 year old sauvignon blanc vines. A cool ferment in stainless, and time on lees provided freshness and layers, while letting the vines maturity shine though. Tight and crisp lemon, gooseberry, and lime stream though this sleek sauvy, strung taut with citrus acidity, and punchy with cool, tropical melon.Tasted: 06 July 2020Tasted by: Prices:
