Lakeside Cellars Rosé 2019
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaEqual parts estate cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon go into this off-dry rosé, each with a few hours on skins prior to pressing and fermenting solo, prior to the blend. Cherry blossoms, strawberry, rose hips float atop a creamy base, seasoned with wild herbs. Easy to enjoy, but not dumbed down, this is the rosé-in-holding until their estate cinsault vines are mature enough to take their place.
