Else Wines Muscat on Skins 2019

Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the family that owns Echo Bay Vineyards, this organically farmed moscato gallo is from Summerland. This was native fermented with 15 days on skins. Half spent 3 months in neutral oak puncheons and stainless, and the remainder all in stainless steel. A small amount of sulphur was added at bottling. Pouring quite cloudy, this is a heady, potent and perfumed pour of bitter apricot, pear skins, tight yellow apple, and grapefruit rind, finishing quite sour, and very astringently grippy.
