Township 7 Provenance Series Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Provenance Series Sauvignon Blanc is new at Township 7, and most welcomed. It is a stripped-down version of the variety, aided by a touch of sémillon, and no residual sugar. The style is not for everyone, although I'm sensing drier styles like this are becoming more popular as wine drinkers evolve over the years. A portion of the mix is barrel fermented to help with mouthfeel, but there's a starkness and purity of flavour that suggests the wood is minimal. Ready for a variety of food, this will be a wine to watch moving forward, and frankly, another exciting step in the evolution of Township 7.Tasted: 28 June 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
