Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis vintage is super concentrated, due to the fact yields in the gew were down by approximately 50%. This was partially whole bunch pressed, with later picks destemmed and crushed for a cold soak on skins for 24 hours prior to pressing. Both lots were then combined for a month-long, cool, native ferment in stainless and older French barrels. MLF was prohibited. Potent and driving candied lime, lychee, ample lush blossoms, rosewater drives along the direct, narrow palate, barely off-dry with 3g/L, and finishing snappy with a lingering soapiness.
