Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Summerland's Lone Pine Vineyard, this is a moderate style of gew, showing some of the grape's intrinsic peach / apricot / floral richness, but tempered with a bitter citrus and pear skin bent. The end result may appeal to those who prefer a richer, honeyed gew, as well as to those looking for a dryer snappy style. The finish is snappy and bright with a splash of sweet, welcoming a chill and some spicy foods.Tasted: 10 October 2020Tasted by: Prices:

Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMichel Bartier is in good space when it comes to making BC wine, and this gewürztraminer is a super example of simply getting what you are given from a vineyard and getting it into the bottle. Medium lean, it has a pure, fresh and lightly aromatic desert scrub and sagebrush nose that spills onto the palate. The fruit is from Summerland's Lone Pine Vineyard, and the attack is a juicy/watery mix of peach, orange, and red apple. Linear, stylish, and ready for food. Well done.Tasted: 13 June 2020Tasted by: Prices:
