Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaVirtually unchanged a year down the road speaks to the precision winemaking at Okanagan Crush Pad. The fruit is certified organic from Secrest Mountain Vineyard, owned by Okanagan Crush pad. Rosé wine is the focus at OCP, and you can feel it through this bone-dry savoury pink that is crisp and mouthwatering. The fruit is whole bunch pressed into an 80/20 mix of concrete and stainless steel and fermented using native yeasts. Look for subtle hints of wild strawberry and crushed raspberries dusted with black pepper in a spare, fresh version of rosé. Ready to drink.Tasted: 04 May 2021Tasted by: Prices:

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2019 Gamay Rosé comes entirely from the certified organic Secrest Mountain Vineyard now owned by Haywire. It is a high altitude, organically farmed site just north of Oliver. Haywire tends to tangle and be unpredictable, a term that, according to owners Chris Coletta and Steve Lornie, is an “apt description of their impromptu decision to own a winery." Rosé wines are a focus at OCP, and you can feel it through this bone-dry savoury pink that is crisp and mouthwatering. The fruit is whole bunch pressed into an 80/20 mix of both concrete and stainless steel, and fermented using native yeasts. Look for subtle hints of wild strawberry and crushed raspberries dusted with black pepper, in what is a spare, fresh version of rosé.Tasted: 25 June 2020Tasted by: Prices:

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOrganically farmed gamay from higher altitude Secrest Mountain Vineyard was whole bunch pressed and native fermented to dryness in a mix of concrete (80%) and stainless (20%). The wine was then pressed to concrete where it rested on for six months prior to filtering and bottling. Always a highlight, this year's is the choicest yet, with the limestone laced soils and light touch of winemaker Matt Dumayne resulting in a lifted, tight, mineral-laden rosé, positively humming with energy, driving wild strawberries, light rhubarb, pink grapefruit on a sleek, lightly lees lined, juicy palate. Subtle and savoury, finishing with a desert scrubby herb allure.Tasted: 28 May 2020Tasted by: Prices:
