Sea Sun Chardonnay 2017

California, United StatesCalifornia’s sunshine is certainly perceptible in the glass, with melon and stone fruits alongside buttered corn and obvious oak that harkens back to a previous era of California chardonnay. It’s bold and intense, with a rich, creamy texture that’s bolstered by a sense of sweetness. Let’s be honest: sometimes you just want an old school-style chardonnay, and this certainly fits the bill. I’d be tempted to go simple and enjoy alongside a bowl of liberally buttered popcorn, but richer shellfish dishes are definitely not off the table.Tasted: 03 May 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 27.99 BCLS ON 25.30 The Small Winemakers Collection Producer: Wagner Family of WinesDistributors: Andrew Peller Import Agency
