Mission Hill Terroir Collection Organic Merlot Reed Creek 2017
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaReed Creek Vineyard has been farmed organically for more than 40 years, basking in the morning sun before resting in the early afternoon shade. The wines spend 18 months in French oak (20 percent new) before bottling. It is a busy, rich, full-bodied edition that is a touch on the wild side with cedary spices running through the black and red fruit. It is super youthful and tight at this point and will need five years to settle in and show its final face.
