Mission Hill Terroir Collection Border Vista Vineyard Rosé 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBorder Vista Vineyard is as far south as you can go in BC wine country, but at 330-360m above sea level, the sandy, loamy soil yields some interesting fruit flavours that make this merlot, cabernet franc, and syrah rosé a winner. The Terroir Collection is meant to be different, as in site-specific, and this tightly wound saline, strawberry and pink grapefruit rosé flecked with orange rind and some much-appreciated lees notes is all that. The ferment is a 75/25 mix of stainless steel and neutral French oak barrels. It is an altogether different level than the regular run of the mill BC rosé.Tasted: 10 April 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 30.00 winery and online exclusive Producer: Mission Hill Family EstateDistributors: Mark Anthony Wines and Spirits
