Kitsch Block Party 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis white blend (that is pale, pale, pale orange) comes off five estate blocks, hence the colourful name and label (Kitsch packaging is top-drawer). In the glass is an original mix of riesling, pinot gris, chardonnay, and pinot noir, whole cluster pressed and with various coferments over 45 days. In all, it spends 90 days in contact with lees before bottling. The just off-dry peach is flecked with lime and tangerines, and is mouthwatering but never over the edge sweet. Plenty of lime lines its crisp finish. It is a "block party" in a glass that is hard to put down. Nothing but fun and well made to boot. Stock up.Tasted: 25 April 2020Tasted by: Prices:
