Vinho Verde, Northern Portugal, PortugalNAT’Cool is Dirk Niepoort's line of wines that are low-intervention, low-alcohol, available only in a 1L format, affordable, and highly smashable. This Vinho Verde is a mix of 25-30 year old granite-grown Azal, Arinto, Avesso, Trajadura and Loureiro grapes, made in the traditional VV way with some lees and few grams of sugar left at bottling to provide that characteristically refreshing and subtle Vinho Verde spritz. Lightly cloudy, this lighter white streams pear skin, sour melon, green apple over a fine herbal lees base, to a snappy, saline finish.
