Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ItalyThe blend is 67% merlot, 24% cabernet sauvignon, 4% petit verdot, 3% cabernet franc, and 2% malbec, and it's soft, round, and ripe. It says Napa Valley on the label, but there isn't much that would suggest it's more than anything but Central Valley juice. Pleasant, easy sipping, barely dry with chocolate cherries predominating.
