Muscadet, Pays Nantais, Loire, FranceMuscadet is generally of exceptional value, and this bottle follows down that path. Creamy and fresh, it comes with a rare expression of ripeness and weight. Expect a rush of green apple, stone, peach, lemon, with texture and aromas bolstered by time on lees (sur lie as the French say)—light, refreshing, and food-friendly.Tasted: 09 April 2020Tasted by: Prices:

Muscadet, Pays Nantais, Loire, FranceMuscadet is easily one of the best values going right now and the wines always overdeliver. In short, this is the perfect wine for after the holidays. This shows citrus and green apple, with lots of lees character. The palate is creamy and broad, with a notch more ripeness than you’d typically expect from the region, with some stone fruit poking through. However, the wines are rarely more than 12% abv. If you like Chablis, give this a try.Tasted: 11 January 2020Tasted by: Prices:
