Gray Monk Chardonnay Unwooded 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaGray Monk wines are never over the top or overhyped. Grown at nearly 50 degrees north, they are lively, clean, and fresh, summarizing what you could want in pure, crisp white wine. The chardonnay is pretty much what every critic is talking about, less the complexity. Still, there is little not to like here, beginning with its bright citrus, green apple on the nose to its biscuity, almond undertone and fresh acidity in the finish. We enjoyed it with a simple chow mein noodle dish, and it improves every bite. Ready to drink. The price is excellent.Tasted: 17 December 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
