Roserock Eola-Amity Pinot Noir 2015

Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesThe Roserock Pinot Noir is a selection from the estate’s 35 blocks, which are all individually handpicked, sorted, and fermented before Veronique Drouhin composes the final blend. Roserock is an apt name for their estate vineyard, crouched at the bottom of Eola-Amity Hills, and in full purview of the Van Duzer corridor and winds. This is full of pretty pinot florals, both fresh and dried, woven around raspberry, plum, and strawberry leather, and dusted with pink peppercorn seasoning. Tannins are long and finely placed. This is, as is the Drouhin style, understatedly stately, drinking well now but good for a few years in your cellar also.Tasted: 01 November 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
