Pormenor Trilho 2015
PortugalOld vines, low intervention, and high altitude aim the direction of Pormenor wines. This is a blend of 60-70 year old vine tinta roriz, tinta baroca, touriga franca, and rufete, from Alijo and 700m altitude. This sees partial whole bunch and partial destemmed fruit native fermented in lagares, and aged for 2 years in used French barrels. This medium-bodied red is showing some age smartly, with gently worn leather, cherry, red currant, and tightly grippy fine grained tannins outlining the worn-in red.
