Pormenor Tinto 2016
Cima Corga, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalOld vines, low intervention, and high altitude aim the direction of Pormenor wines. This is a blend of touriga franca, tinta roriz, amarela, and rufete, from vines 60-70 years old in the Cima Corgo. After a native fermentation in lagares, this aged in older French barrels for 18 months. Cherry, raspberry and red currant feel lofty in the 12.5 degree frame, housed with fine tannins, and finishing with a raspy spicing. Youthful, honest, pure, and ready for drinking now.Tasted: 10 November 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:Portugal | $16.00 | 750ml | Portugal |
