Douro Superior, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalOld vines, low intervention, and high altitude aim the direction of Pormenor wines. This is a blend of rabigato, malvasia fine, from 650-700m in Douro Superior. This was native fermented and aged in used French barrels, with no MLF or batonage, for 10 months. The wood certainly is present, sculpting the white peach, pear, plump quince with a toasty wood grain, adding structure and weight.
