Pormenor Branco 2017

Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalOld vines, low intervention, and high altitude aim the direction of Pormenor wines. This is a blend of rabigato, malvasia fine, and bodega do larinho from the mica schist soils of Carrazeda de Ansiaes, in Douro Superior. After a natural ferment this rests in stainless with no MLF or batonage for 7 months. Tightly framed, and filled with stony white fruit, light herbal blossoms, and large flake salts. There's a fine grip around the sides and lofty, effortless acidity, encouraging numerous food pairings.Tasted: 10 November 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
