Setúbal Peninsula, Central and Southern Portugal, PortugalHerdade do Cebolal is located on the Alentejo Coast, 10 km from the sea and 20 km from the historic city of Santiago do Cacém. This Setubal blend of touriga nacional, alicante bouschet, petit verdot was fermented in stainless and clay, before aging in French oak for 18 months. This is showing its age; thankfully time has turned the southern Portuguese sun into worked leather, dried cherry, tobacco, and dried tea leaves.
