Road 13 Syrah 2017
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Road 13 style is beefy with some meaty, almost reductive notes right off the top, but they tend to dissipate quickly in the glass. Still tight, it has a long, smooth, palate coating glycerol nature with powerful, peppery, black fruits. Mix in some Okanagan savoury notes, and you have a wine capable of taking on a leg of lamb or grilled Tomahawk steak. Best to decant at the moment, or age it a decade before you come back to it. Impressive quality for the price.Tasted: 13 June 2020Tasted by: Prices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
